Doris Möncke works at Alfred University, teaching and studying glass science and spectrosopy. Doris’ work focuses on structure property correlation in glasses, optical properties or how a glass reacts to external forces, such as mechanical impact or irradiation. Her research interest covers also historic glasses, the recreation of old techniques and all facets of colored glasses.
